250 Moves, Curated, and a Library That Is Yours
A glossary we keep growing, a personal library you shape, and journal rolls that build it up for you.
The Jiu Jitsu Style app is your training life in one place: a journal to log your rolls, a technique library to build your game, and a glossary to make sense of the whole sport. It is on the App Store now, with an Android version on Google Play coming soon. This is the part about the library.
Jiu Jitsu has more names for things than any one person can hold in their head. So we built the glossary: 250 techniques, positions, sweeps, passes, escapes, and submissions, each one picked and checked by people who train. We add to it and fix it constantly. When the sport moves, the glossary moves.
The glossary is the reference. Your library is where you train.

Pull any technique from the glossary into your own library and it becomes yours to organize. Sort it your way. Add notes: the detail your coach told you about the grip, the thing you keep forgetting, the video timestamp that finally made it click. If your gym has a move that is not in the glossary, or calls it something we have never heard, add it. It goes in the glossary and your library both.
Here is the part that makes it more than a list. Every roll you log in the journal feeds back into the techniques it mentions. Hit a triangle three times this month? Your triangle card knows. Getting caught in the same guillotine every Tuesday? That shows up too. Your library slowly becomes an honest picture of what you actually do on the mat, not what you think you do.
Videos attach to any technique, from YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook.
Ready to build your library? Download the app on the App Store, and sign up for the journal to start logging your rolls.
